Breaking News from the New Club Management

• Tennis News: Carolina Court Works resurfaced our tennis courts, and Gate City League Play has begun. Jim Lanzi has been retained as the club tennis pro. 
• Gate City matches and practices are starting the week of April 4th
• Junior clinics will begin the week of April 11th, and will be held on Mondays and/or Wednesdays from 4-5PM
• Ladies’ Night will start on Monday, April 11, 7-9 PM; Men’s Night will start on Tuesday, April 12, from 7-9 PM.
  Refreshments will be served on both evenings.
• Mixed Doubles Night will be on Thursdays, starting April 14, from 7-8:30 PM
• Cardio Tennis will begin Saturday, April 9th, from 7:30 to 8:30 AM. The cost if $5 per person and is open to all levels of play.

• Swim News: A second Swim Team sign up is scheduled for April 14, and the pool will open May 14.
   
• Club News: The new owner is Henry Properties, LLC ( a subsidiary of NewBridge Bank). NewBridge Bank has engaged East West Partners Club Management to manage the operations of the Club. East-West has hired Bruce Furman as the On-site General Manager, who will be on-site starting Wednesday, April 6th. Contact information for East-West, and Bruce Furman will be posted soon.
   
• Facilities News: Southern Exposure Landscaping, of Summerfield, has been engaged to provide landscaping services for the club…check out their recent work at the club.
   
• Grill News: The Grill will be in operation this year, and will have an enhanced menu, including soft drinks, beer and wine.
   
• Membership News: If you are a member from last year…your membership is still active through April. The new membership renewal date for this year will run from May 01, 2011 to March 31, 2012, and the family membership fee will be the same as last year. Next year we’ll go back to a renewal date of April 1st. For new members this year, the Initiation Fee of $1,000.00 will be waived. Full membership information and forms will be available soon.
   
• General News: A lot of good things are happening very quickly behind the scenes right now to complete the transition of club management and operations. The club will be in full operation very soon. Information will be posted and distributed quickly as it becomes available. Thanks for your continued commitment and patience. Ridgewood is on its way to becoming the premier Swim & Tennis Club in the Greensboro area.
